Looking quickly through some of my favourite outfits over the past year the only thing I can see that would “define” my style would be colour, pattern and hats. Although I was surprised to see that some of my choices included quite a bit of black.
I have yet to go through and pull my fashion fails of last year. I need to though, as they inevitably teach me more than the winning outfits.
I’ll take a moment to thank all of you, for being here. You put up with my sarcastic ways and encourage my unhealthy fashion compulsion.
This year I’ve made some wonderful connections and discovered new friends, visited new countries, all thanks to blogging.
Blogging hasn’t brought me untold riches of the monetary kind, but it has enriched my life in ways I never would have thought possible.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year full of love, health, and a never ending supply of treats!

Fabulous outfits! Happy New Year to you and your family!
Beautiful outfits all – you’ve got serious style, Suzanne!
Happy new year to you and Robert too, and thanks for all the great comments you’ve left for me over the last year – you’re a star! xxx
1, 4, 7, 11, 17 are my faves, although they are all brilliant!! Happy New Years to you!
Happy New Year ladies!
Lovely outfits all, Suzanne! I especially like #15 and #19. Either of these two could have come from my own closet (yet with your own touch of Suzanne pizzazz). I love hats and boots and eyeglasses (you look great in your glasses by the way!).
It has been a pleasure “meeting” you and following your blog this past year. And who knows? If you’re on this side of the pond perhaps we can meet up. France isn’t all that big, well, when you consider Canada and the US that is.
Meilleurs Voeux!
Shani
I’m still hopeful we will meet-up Shani : )
Gorgeous style, you! You really know yourself and it looks like you have fun with fashion. Throw in your artistry and wow- – you’ve got IT! Send me outfit #6, plz : >
You are always an inspiration and I adore your sense of humor. Gorgeous 2014 ensembles! Looking forward to your style and life process in 2015. Happy New Year!
I was afraid of this… While I can contain my envy looking at a single one of your outfits, a retrospective of a dozen of them sends me straight to green Hell. Normally, I’m able to delude myself that I could look as cute as you wearing a particular outfit but, here, that delusion disappears like water on a hot sidewalk. The intense heat forces me to concede that your fashion style exceeds anything I could manage and your natural beauty… well… lucky you. I hope your New Year is as wonderful as possible.
You are too kind : ) Hope you had a smashing New Year!
Such a year of AMAZING style, Suzanne! LOVE your blog and can’t waIt to see what 2015 has you wearing! Your looks are always chic and creative! Wishing you (and Zoe) all the best in 2015! Tiaras for everyone!

Great style! There are so many good jackets here. My favorite look is #3 – that bag is so pretty! Happy New Year!
Thanks for popping by Michelle : ) Happy New Year!
Would you believe it, I’ve been vintage blogging for nearly six years now and have never done a year end outfit post recapping like this? I’m thinking I really must in 2015. If only to give it a spin and see how it flies.
You are by far one of the most stylish ladies in Canada, dear Suzanne, and I always massively enjoy seeing your outfit posts and everything else that you share with us here (I try hard to never miss a post!). It’s oodles of fun to get to savour so many of your great looks again in one spot.
I hope that you have a fabulous, fun filled, and very happy New Year and that 2015 rocks for you on every front!
♥ Jessica
Thanks for stopping by Jessica.
Hope you had a wonderful Vintage New Year : )
So many amazing looks! You are so good at mixing patterns. My absolute favorite look of yours is #24. That dress is stunning and I remember that it is vintage. Love it. Happy New Year to you. Glad we have become Internet friends.
One day we will meet up IRL : ) Scary! LOL
Good lord woman!! I am so overwhelmed by the complete fabulousness of all of your choices that I can’t pick a favorite. Although I am kinda partial to that orange/rust velvet blazer…
Have a wonderful New Year my hair twin!

I know you want to borrow that blazer don’t you? Good thing we don’t live next to each other…or maybe it would be a great thing. I know we could each wear about 90% of each other’s closet.
Lovely and I have to say I was surprised and pleased one of your outfits I particularly liked made it to your favorites when I thought it might be a “fail” for you- I love the one with the loose sweater and the outfit looks fantastic on you but I remember you were nervous about the billowiness of the outfit. Just goes to show that you always take chances with outfits and that is what makes your blog great.
Happy New Year Suzanne!
You are right Kristian. It took some time for me to bend my mind around the fact that I don’t have a waist showing. Now I’ve gotten a bit used to it though…I think you might be seeing quite a bit more of this style in the New Year : )
I can’t believe Zoe doesn’t have a tiara already! The bow tie does suit…Mama has been known to borrow from the boyz too, yes?
Your collage of outfits really sings! I can really see that your style is so very YOU, individual and colourful! If I had to choose a single outfit…well maybe that lovely little dress #9…the ombre hair and the pattern on the dress are so, so fabulous!
xo Happy New Year!
I am really lame on my doggie wardrobe! LOL And yes…I borrow from the boyz all the time : )
Well, I was going to list my faves but I lost count. What a beautiful year. Though I did pin #16….
Happy New Year Connie!
I always love your style and this recap confirms that you are one stylish fashionista! Have a Happy New Year Suzanne!

Happy New Year Alice! Hope to see you this year IRL : )
Beautiful outfits. And so many with dresses or skirts. You have a healthy mix. I am too much into skinnies all the time. I have to pay more attention to your skirt dressing ways and learn.
I have enjoyed your blog and visit enormously. So glad I found you.
Happy New Year. Also to Robert and Zoe.
Greetje
Happy New Year dear Greetje. I am very grateful to have met you.
Happy New Year Suzanne! Your outfits are pretty adventurous overall, I can definitely take some tips from you for my own wardrobe evolution over the coming year! x

Seeing so many of your outfits here in one post just confirms how stylish and well-turned out you are. You are an excellent mixer of patterns and colours, and know exactly the shapes to choose to best flatter your body. Well done!

Happy New Year Carmen : )
A post about your fashion fails would be incredibly short – I haven’t seen you look ‘bad’ once! This is a great mix of outfits – clearly just proves your style is unique and diverse. I still love that tied up denim shirt with the pretty pencil skirt – that may just be my favourite 🙂 x
Happy New Year Suzanne! I love coming over and am very fond of your witty writing and your gorgeous-ness! amazing selection of your always beautiful ensembles, I think you always look fabulous, I was thinking of you today when I was looking for a ‘Suzanne’ style straw hat #16!! Zoe rocks the bow-tie btw, pug fashion royalty! x x x
Happy New Year fabulous Sandra! Your blog always makes me smile : )
Well, sweet lady,
you are supremely talented at this whole style thing.
Love the snark and personality you bring to the web,
as well as your profoundly good style sense.

Ha ha!
Happy New Year Suzanne! Oh man! I love all of your outfits! I was going to say I do not have a favorite until I scrolled down to that maxi skirt. Sigh. It is amazing. And I just love the colors with your red hair! But that red blazer was also coveted with slobber and drool. Oh! I love them all! I cannot wait to see the outfits you come up with in 2015!!!
Jenni
Happy New Year dear Jenni! You are on my list of “bloggers I want to meet this year” : )

Happy New Year, Suzanne! Blogging has blessed me in many of the same ways. I always enjoy your witty posts and charming comments. You never fail to make me smile or laugh. I love these photo recap posts. I’ve been meaning to assemble mine for, what, two weeks now? Whoops. I remember so many of these looks. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Outfit 9 is the one I want to snatch off of you and wear myself. But 24 is all decadence and sex appeal and glamour. Va-va-voom voom voooooom!

I can honestly say that I like all of the above outfits on you. Yep, all very stylish and fun successes.
I would add tartan, maxi dresses/skirts and earth tones to the list of key elements that characterize your style.
