So I picked up this little blazer from Forever 21 shortly after I had that floral blazer fail episode.
Style # 1…office appropriate, however since my office is my basement a tad overdressed.
This happens to be made out of linen. I know…huge shock for Forever 21. It'll be ideal for summer.
This would be a great look for a client lunch meeting (aka girl's lunch out).

Number one reason why I prefer this blazer over the other one is the fit. This is fitted and has a slightly lower curved bottom hem and closure that is very flattering.
I also prefer the muted colours compared to the other blazer and the smaller pattern. I wear the blazer rather than it wears me.
Here is that other blazer in case you don't remember…
I must admit that I really do still like the boldness of this blazer and also that it has black in it. A bit more rock and roll.
And here is my effort styling the new one with the boyfriend jeans… which is actually much more me.
What do you think? Did I make the right choice?

I think you definitely made the right choice!! This blazer fits you a lot better, and I think it’s more versatile.

I’ll admit the cut is more flattering- and the lighter colors seem versatile. However it’s from F-21. I am a bit tired of commenting on fast fashion. Those kind of bargains come from greedy unethical companies and the price is paid in stealing other designer’s ideas, designs and are made in deplorable conditions. I’m sorry but ANYTHING from f-21 is a big fail for me.

This current one is the right choice! Much nicer design lines and the colours are way better. {Gak! Terrible English I know} I now see You wearing the blazer, rather than the blazer wearing you. Great, funny post today too!

i did like the other blazer on you, but the important thing is what you like and what you feel comfortable in! With this not said that I don’t like your new blazer, because I do!

Suzanne, I am loving this floral blazer look! It is perfect how you style them with boyfriends jeans for a more feminine/masculine balance. The eye glasses actually contribute some of the ‘geek’ factor that is so subtle and cool! Love, love, love!

You really know how to work a floral blazer! I love the white one for spring/summer. And the pop of leopard print on the last outfit is my favorite. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

These looks are fab on you. I love your choice! I’m always amazed at how well you, and other bloggers, do in fashion shots. I feel tend to feel (and look awkward) probably not enough practice. Great post!

I love how you’ve styled the first blazer and the use of autumnal shades of colour. My favourite looks though are the more casual ones where you use the bold prints on the blazers and pair them with the jeans and killer heels. Nice.

Yes, you most definitely made the right choice. The soft muted colors are the perfect way to wear floral. Love how you piared it with the red and beige, great choice with to add those leopard shoes. Let me know when its time to meet for lunch.
