It's funny how the smallest things in life go unnoticed until they are no longer there.
I had no idea how much emphasis I put on enjoying food.
You go out to eat, invite friends for dinner, make lunch dates, go for coffee, bake someone a cake, have a supper date, celebrate Christmas, Easter, New Year's pretty much every holiday with copious amounts of food.
Food is life.
Food is love.
Food is good.
Until the smell of food, the thought of food, the mention of food makes you recoil in disgust.
Then you realize life revolves around the consumption of food and you can't escape it. Everywhere you turn you are faced with it.
I am so grateful to have finally regained my desire to eat. I always thought it would be fantastic not to desire food. So easy to turn it away and not worry about weight issues. I would be in complete control.
Be careful what you wish for.
Now that this bout of mold poisoning is leaving my system I can once again enjoy the foods that I love with the people that I love.
I am thankful for my sense of taste, my sense of smell and the pleasure of eating.

This has nothing at all to do with what I'm wearing…that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes : )
Have you ever lost your desire for food? Did it bother you?

How strange! At least it’s getting better. I’ve known people who’ve lost their sense of taste, or have had their sense of smell go funny, both after medical problems. We sure do take our normal enjoyment of food for granted.
I love your hair – the colors are so vibrant!

That sounds totally miserable! For me, whenever I get sick, my appetite is usually the first thing to go. But only for a day or two, not for a bunch of days at once! Not being able to eat can really make you feel worse, too!

SO relating to this! It is strange and frustrating wanting to enjoy the food you love with people you love and not being able to.
SO glad you feel better!

Glad to hear that you feel better! I have tried to fast and that made me very aware of how much time we spend on food, shopping, cocking, eating, and dishing, and within 3-4 hours the same procedure… well maybe not shopping, but the rest. Cool outfit!

I’m so glad to hear you are feeling better and getting an appetite back. I’m feeling like I should lose my appetite for just a week or two ;).
Cute outfit too!
