When I saw this dress I thought it has such a flattering cut and thought, “Ah yeah! That’s how to wear green over 40!”

I adore this rich colour for between seasons.
Are you a fan of green?

Ooh! That style would look fab on you. It’ll emphasize your feminine shape. I like the purple touches on the shoes; purple is an unexpected color to pair with green but it works.
Ditto to what Ally said. My personal favorite is olive green, but yes I would wear this dress in a hot minute. xox
I’ll have one of everything please! The cut of the dress is so flattering and I love the leopard stole. I disliked wearing green for years as it was my school uniform for my final two years of school but I’ve over the past decade I’ve very much fallen in love with all shades from apple green to forest to all the beautiful jewel shades of teal that you also have in the outfit.
So did you buy it? It is absolutely gorgeous!!! jodie

No, I didn’t buy it. That is the problem with me making these Polyvore sets…I’m just selling myself stuff.
But really it’s for research…one must try these things and report on them, right? Ha ha!!
How to wear green over 40? Is it different from wearing that colour at any other age then? I had no idea! Yes, I do love green, my latest post is evidence of that, and you have chosen a very pretty dress and such cool shoes. xxx
Ha ha! I do titles like that specifically for Google. Not for me : ) Green is the same at any age, but Google doesn’t see it like that.
If I wore this I might look like I have a chest! But this would look incredible on you because you already have all the parts. I especially like how you added the stole and cool shoes and teal bag, like adding an olive to a martini.
MMMMM…martini!
Green is the The Boy’s favorite color and I’ve been daydreaming about this blazer I found that was green so… basically, you are feeding an obsession 😉
I do especially love the shoes you show here too.
On my computer the green has a little bit of teal in it or petrol, which is less of a flattering colour for me than bottle or moss green. I hope these last two shades of green are available in the shops now.
By the way, what does the colour green have to do with being over 40?

Nothing of course. I’m trying to do what Sylvia has suggested which is create Google searchable titles for my blog posts.
Beautiful dress, but can we talk about those shoes for a minute? I’m drooling…
