You know that I adore Karina dresses.
It is what I call mindless dressing that still looks like you made an effort.
My newest Karina dress is the Carolyn midnight garden. I like the fact that it has short sleeves and I don’t need to worry about any kind of wardrobe malfunctions. There are no buttons to pop or ties to worry about.
I took it with me travelling when I went to visit family and friends in BC where they have some of the nicest gardens in the world. These flowers were at my uncle’s house but my Mom also has an amazing garden.
Those shoes are Fly. Aren’t they sweet? I picked them up at TJ Maxx a while back. The floral brooch is homemade.
Here I am with my personal assistant. She is hard at work as you can see. As long as she is smack dab in the middle of the action doing absolutely nothing she is happy.
What do I like about Karina dresses the most? I can roll them up into a ball, shove them in my suitcase and they come out looking perfect. They are so comfortable and ideal for travelling. I’ve worn this dress about fifteen times since I got it about seven weeks ago just because it looks good and is so darn easy to wear.
I will provide you with one word of warning, my dress is 100% polyester which can get mighty hot when the temperatures climb above 28 C. I found that I started heating up a bit in the upper torso of the dress as it is fitted. I find this is an issue with most fit and flare dresses when it is very hot outside.

Great dress! I love the cut & the print! You look fabulous! And I love of course that the dress doesn’t wrinkle…
I can see why you wear that dress all of the time because dayum woman! You look like a smokin’ hottie McHottie Pants in it! And I wish all that my personal assistants did was lounge around looking adorable. Instead they are bumping into my tripod and licking my legs.

Wow, those are flowers! Pretty dress, too. I love the penultimate picture of you on the sofa. So elegant and feminine.
Loving the print Suzanne! You know I am a fan of Karina and the last dress I shared was the Carolyn, great fit on you!
thanks for linking up

Polyester doesn’t bother me. Not even in hot weather. Isn’t that strange? I love that you can wear this dress without worries, creases or peep holes. It is a pretty dress, but I would prefer a longer sleeve for my old arms ?. Be glad you can still wear them with only a shirt sleeve. Although in Argentina the oldest women even wear sleeveless. They don’t seem to care. Perhaps I should adopt a different approach.

I like that you pointed out both pros & cons about this dress Suzanne!!
Personally, I feel that is true for everything in life—so if someone says only good things about something, I figure they’re fibbing (or omitting—same thing!)
I love how you paired the dress with print shoes!! And you got Fly London’s at TJMaxx—I gotta go there—now!!

Gorgeous! xx
Loving those photos, Suzanne.
Spectacular dress, and you are so right how Karina dresses are easy to wear. This is a great pattern.
Your assistant just needs more treats.
Love the dress, any dress that can survive a roll up in my suitcase and come out looking nice is a treasure. But this print is super pretty. Love the brooch too! A super nice touch!
