Karina Style For The Holidays & Giveaway
Karina Style For The Holidays
Are you feeling lucky? I have a great opportunity for you to win a Karina dress. If you don’t know the Karina brand they are made in the US, wash easily, don’t require ironing and are flattering for every body type.
This is the time of parties and holiday cheer so I decided to dress up my Karina dress four different ways for the holidays.
Changing up a dress is always about the accessories and I chose some bold accessories.
(Are you surprised?)
I started with the blue crushed velvet booties cause nothing says Christmas like crushed blue velvet.
{wink}

I have one of my favourite handmade necklaces that matches the booties.

Similar necklace in black and red with vintage brooch I created for sale on my Etsy.

An owl handbag cause…well really you don’t need a reason for an owl handbag.

You can’t really see it too well but I’ve added my little tulle skirt under the dress for some added volume, a bit more length and some texture. This outfit would work well for an office party.
Now I just need to find an office and crash their party.
The dress is shorter than my other Karina dresses and therefore ideal for tights or women that love to show off their gams. Come back tomorrow to see another way I’ve styled this same dress for the holidays.
Don’t miss your chance to win!

Hold Your Horses – Horse Skirt
One of my latest thrifting acquisitions reminds me of a very old Anthropologie skirt I own

Except this thrifted horse skirt cost me $7.

I just realized that everything in this outfit is thrifted or bought via consignment except the turtleneck.
The burnt orange velvet structured blazer has a wonderful cut and shape.

The suede lace up boots are Michael Kors and look like they’ve been worn twice.

When one of my nieces fits into this skirt I might have to gift it to her. They are both huge horse lovers and skilled riders as well.

Neither one of my nieces are remotely interested in fashion. One is interested in books, the other sports. Both of them are interested in art and pugs though.
What personal characteristics would you like to pass onto your family members?
