Classy Coated Jeans & Cuff Links
So here is look #3 with the coated jeans.
This time I've gone for a classic style of white a black. This would be great for an evening out for dinner and drinks.
Jeans – Seven for All Mankind
Shoes – Guess
Velvet Blazer – Anthropologie
Fitted Shirt – Buffalo
Frog Ring – Francescas
Looking at the nice long sleeves on my shirt I would love to have been able to use some of my hubby's amazing cuff links on this outfit. It would be so unusual and sexy to add a menswear inspired detail to this sleek simple ensemble.
I see that Victoria's Secret has this shirt that has French cuffs… and it looks lovely.
However I can't really tell if there are holes for the cuff links or not.
Ralph Lauren has this shirt which does have holes for the cuffs, but at $325.00 it's a bit pricey for me. I prefer the $34.50 price of the Victoria's Secret shirt.
I have a feeling if I do get my hands on a nice women's French cuff shirt that will allow me to start dipping into my husband's stash of fab cuff links he isn't going to be too happy. I wonder how long it would take him to notice…; P

Patterned Pants – Will they make you look like a chubby clown?
I love patterns…believe me…I design loads of patterns, but I'm not sure I'm too keen about the latest "trend" I saw when I was at Anthro, patterned pants for Spring.
I absolutely love the colors and the pattern in these pants.
And I have to admit that they look quite lovely on her…
However I will point out that;
A – she is very tall and has thin legs. We're talkin' thinner than the leg that Angelina stuck out at the Oscars.
B – even though she is tall she is still wearing a heel with these…a sure sign that they even make her look a bit shorter when she is wearing them.
and C – I'm surprised they don't have her posing on a golf course or garden which is really the only place I can see myself wearing these.
In all honesty when I went to Anthro they had these on display and as much as I loved them and thought they looked wonderful on the mannequins I wasn't crazy enough to take them into the fitting room with me. I know they will make me look shorter and heavier. I didn't have my emergency bag of chocolate or my BFF to console me saying that's it's not me…it's the dang pants! So I skipped the whole debacle.
I know everyone is coming out with their version of patterned pants for Spring so I suggest if you really love them that you start your fasting right now, grow to at least 5'8" or be prepared to have your boss ask what you score was on the round of golf you played that morning, or worse on your way to work…a bunch of street performers mistake you for one of their own and throw a rubber chicken at you.
