Phresh Threads
I got this lovely handmade dress at the Toronto Clothing Show last year for my birthday. It's by Phresh Threads, a local company that designs cute classics and sustainable styles with a retro throwback. I'm a big fan of supporting local artisans and artists who produce such unique and wonderful pieces.
If you have an hourglass figure wearing pieces that show you have a waist is important to ensure you don't look heavier than you are.

I paired it with this very unique necklace that I got at Le Chateau. It caught my eye right away as it reminded me of our dearly departed yellow LoveBird we had for many years called Midas.

The shoes are from Ecco but I bought them at TJ Maxx.

Dresses are so easy to wear. A few well fitted basic dresses should be a staple in every woman's wardrobe. They are perfect for the days you can't be bothered to pull together an outfit but still want to look stylish.

Floral Blouse 3 Ways
I scored this lovely floral blouse by Dorothy Perkins. I'd never heard of this brand before from the UK but I just love it! The blouse is super cute because the back is button up and then curves up at the last button so that when you lean over your back shows a bit. It's a nice little detail that makes it unique. I also love the print on this. I had no idea it would look so lovely with one of my necklaces but check it out…it looks like I made the necklace for this blouse!

So I've styled it a few different ways here. It is very versatile. I was hesitant to buy initially but now I'm delighted I bought it.
