So you saw the orginal look…
Then the vintage blazer styled modern and edgy
And now my third look, modern classic.
This is probably the most "me" out of the three looks.
It is practicle with the boots, sweater and hat for this time of year.
And I manage to incorporate one of my handmade necklaces.
This has a bit of a equestrian vibe to it which is what the jacket reminded me of when I first saw it.
What I think is important to point out is that in no way does this 1950's blazer look like it is "old". It is simply a well made classic piece. If you are able to find quality pieces such as this when you are shopping vintage they will never be out of style and you will never look like you are wearing a costume.
What do you think? Which is your favourite look?
Do you wear vintage or have you ever considered wearing vintage? Has this little demonstration changed your mind about vintage?

Wow! You really transform this piece. I love how you present it in such radically different ways. It is, of course, a superb blazer. As you say, some pieces are timeless.
You were right when you thought less ripped jeans would do better; altho i still like the ripped jeans look! Both are winners. Xoxo
Yep, this one is my fave too. I really like the high boots with socks. You have very shapely legs in jeans. I’m kind of jealous. 🙂
Perfecto! Each way in which you styled your look is fantastic. I believe my favorite is the equestrian vibe…very Ralph Lauren. I love cross-body bags.

I love all three looks but this definitely is YOU!!! Close-up of the necklace please!!
Love all three looks but #3 is definitely YOU!!!
Close-up of the necklace please!!!
I love all 3 looks. For me personally, look 2 and 3 I would totally wear but look 1 – I am not cool enough to pull it off. I love #3 – from the cross body bag to your necklace – just perfect!

YES, YES, YES!!! Says me jumping up and down!!! Your you-est look is…gak…super fantastic! I love it!
And yes, you have inspired me to start looking at vintage with a fresh eye! Thanks!
Stay warm!
I love ALL of these looks – they are simply fantastic!!! I especially like the shirt under the blazer for added patterns in the second look, and the pumps with distressed denim. But seriously, I can’t pick a favorite because they all are so impeccable on you. For me, I’d be comfortable in 2 or 3, but tend to wear something like 3 already. I’d love to wear more like #2! Gorgeous!

All 3 are great looks. I love the versatility of your blazer. Pairing it with different pieces completely transform the whole look

Hello Suzanne! Yes, I most certainly do wear vintage, pretty much all the time, I love it! And I love your jacket, all three ways, but the first look with the maxi skirt is my favourite (I am ALL about a maxi). But I can see why the third look is most you and you look casually, effortlessly chic and beautiful. xx
I fell in love with this blazer the first time I saw it. I have some solid colored blazers from the forties but I never really thought to search for a plaid vintage one. I now want to look for one!
I love wearing the vintage blazers and feel very stylish when I do so.
Thanks for sharing,
Stacey
That blazer is so versatile. I think the last look is my favorite. You are the master of making vintage pieces feel modern!

Outfit two is my favorite, as outfit three is a bit too equestrian and too British for my taste. Yet it is a very nice look too and I see how it is the most practical of the three.
So true that it is because the blazer is classic that it works so well.
Well I’m *trying* to hide my man calves. I’ve heard someone refer to them as cows LOL.
Cross body are the best. I need my hands free.
What are you talking about Alice? You can pull off any look you want : )
I can really see you wearing this last look Sue.
