This summer outfit started out with the floral top…which is oh-so-lovely.
I’ve been thinking more and more about a white skirt to inject some freshness into my wardrobe for my summer style. I’m always paranoid they will get dirty easily though. Do you own a white skirt? Is it difficult to keep clean?
BTW…Congratulations to Iliana R who won the Walk Trendy giveaway!

Very pretty Spring set!
That is a very pretty combination and I can picture it on you. It would look stunning. White skirts and pants scare me. The white skirts I own I use under other skirts as a petticoat. Even white tops are at risk of some sort of stain within a couple hours of wear but with white bottoms I am so afraid I will sit in something like melted chocolate. xoxo
Ah…I know the feeling. Often I can be seen eating chocolate in my car and then exiting with stains everywhere. Not ideal for white.
This is the ‘perfect’ spring outfit you have put together, Suzanne. I love that floral top (I know, you and me with the floral crush this season, right?). This would be gorgeous on you! A white skirt can be a little tricky. Always have the right undergarments-enough said….It seems that some types of fabric repel the dirt better than others when it comes to whites. I do love the shape of that skirt.

I just ordered a white skirt and pearl-gray (almost white) ankle pants. Don’t know whether it was a good idea or not! But I’ve worn white summer dresses that I’ve never had an issue with. I do love that outfit.

I hope you’ll let me know how you like them!
I have my white and rose skirt, which, surprisingly, was not as hard to keep clean as I’d thought…. With a pure white skirt too, you might be able to wash it with white vinegar, which keeps whites bright.
I have to keep a note of this down by my washing machine. So much better than using bleach.
NO harder then keeping anything else clean…………………GO GET A WHITE SKIRT!
The LADIES have sent me……..having fun peeking into new blogs and exploring!
Hope you will do the same.SUMMER cannot come soon enough!
It almost felt like Spring and Summer was going to miss us in Toronto this year! I’m glad the weather is finally starting to behave.
I featured that Kate Spade bag on my blog too! I love the size, color, style — everything about it! Thanks for putting together a great look for summer.

The bag looks like it is just the right size for me.
I own several white skirts and trousers. Just throw them in the washing machine at the end of the day.

I guess you’re not eating chocolate in your car like me : )
Oh but I do. And oranges, and bread. Lots of stains on my clothes. And I don’t seem te learn either. Not a sign of an intelligent person….
Hi Suzanne,
My favourite summer piece is a little white skirt I picked up in my home town about 5 years ago (should I admit that I have had it that long?!). It is stretchy, just the right length, and I feel great in it. It is washable, and seems to never stain. I really love the look of a halter top neckline, and this pattern you’ve picked out is wonderful, very island-feel. I have a coral quilted Kate Spade little gold chain purse as well, and I love bringing it out of it’s protective bag, to begin the season. Great post, thank You! xx Nancy
I think it is brilliant you have a skirt that is 5 years old. In fact I *wish* our wardrobes weren’t considered disposable and we wore items 10 years or longer. It is better for us an the earth.
I love white in the summer. That’s what bleack is for isn’t it? Great looking outfit! Thanks for joining us and sharing your inspiration on #stylefocus!!
