These last couple weeks have been traumatic.
It is astounding just how quickly life can slide right off the rails and one has to face unexpected changes and cope with them. This recent crisis is a reminder to keep my face turned towards the sunshine and be thankful for all I have in this very moment because in an instant it can all be taken away.
Gratitude Found
Last week I took some time to recharge my batteries and thank my lucky stars that life is finally back to normal.
A Million Years Ago
These photos were taken when I was still trying to figure out what to wear to my friend meet-up last month in Vancouver which seems like a million years ago now! I certainly feel like I’ve aged twenty years in the last two weeks.

I didn’t end up taking this fab vintage 1960s maxi dress on the trip with me.

But I still wanted to share it with you.
It mimics my current mood, out of the darkness came sunshine and flowers.
Tomorrow Is Promised To No One
I am so grateful to have made it through the difficulty to the other side with my life still intact.

Don’t forget to tell those you love how much you cherish them.
Tomorrow is promised to no one. Make the most of your day today.
