The Refreshing Pineapple Trend

Who doesn’t love a pineapple? Especially in summer?

I wasn’t specifically seeking out this trend, but the colour of this tee and the bold sequins drew me in.

The fact that the graphic was a pineapple was just a happy coincidence.

As a woman over the age of ~~forty~~ fifty, I don’t have a problem wearing a big sequinned graphic on my chest. If I want to wear a big sequinned graphic on my butt it is still my prerogative, although I don’t think it would be very practical nor comfortable, sitting on sequins is like using your butt as a pin cushion.

The reality is that we can wear whatever we like as long as we are happy and comfortable with it.

That is one of the brilliant things about being an adult, you can choose how to dress yourself.

You don’t need the magazines to dictate what you should or shouldn’t wear.

Wear what makes your heart happy.

It’ll put a smile on your face and those around you.

I have a feeling she has a big pineapple tea party coming up soon at her house. She puts on the most amazing parties! One of these days I’m going to make it out to Utah for one of them.

This is really going for the all-out dark princess look. Complete with jewelled belt and yellow suede slippers.

This was one of the looks I put together when I was thinking of what to wear for New Year's Eve.

In the end I think that I skipped it because I thought that the lace top was making me look like my boobs extend from the top of my collar bone until just above my belly button. It's an optical illusion of course due to the seaming on the top but I can't get over how huge it makes them look here.

If my boobs really were that big I would be walking permanently hunched over scared for the slightest breeze to hit me from behind knowing that I would topple over boobs first due to the sheer weight and imbalance of my body portions.

That is why Pamela Anderson always has body guards holding onto each of her arms. They are actually holding her up. Known fact people. Known fact.
