I’ve been adding some listings to the Etsy shop and thought I’d share some with you that are particularly lovely.
While I’d love to keep each of these pieces for my personal collection my job is to share my love of secondhand clothing with the world and not just hoard it all for myself.
(I know it’s hard to believe!)
New In The Etsy Shop
70s Boho Maxi Dress With Wings
First up is a vintage 1970s angel sleeve boho dress. This is the one the other vintage seller was kind enough to point out to me at the thrift store. Thank you!
I thought long and hard about wanting to keep this dress but in the end I decided it was just too boobalicious.
It was screaming,
“Wardrobe Malfunction!”
One sleeve looked a little off in that photo but I have since repaired it and now they both hang perfectly.
The Walter Baker Print Mixing Dress
I will freely admit that I didn’t know the brand Walter Baker but I knew a good piece of clothing when I spotted it. Turns out Walter Baker is well liked by celebrities.
I can see why, the design of this piece is well conceived. It has two sexy dramatic side slits and an uneven hemline. I like the unique print mixing, angel flutter sleeves and front lace up. Lots of design elements going on but they all work well together.
This feels like wearing a summer breeze.
The swishyness factor is a ten on this dress.
I had to take a photo in my chair because…ย hello!
it matches the dress perfectly.
And just in case I forgot, the pug came and reminded me it was getting perilously close to supper time and she might faint from low blood sugar weakness at any moment.
Her internal clock is always running about three hours in advance.
Joseph Ribkoff Tropical Dress
Finally there is the Joseph Ribkoff one of my favourite Canadian brands.
The colours and print grabbed my attention first but the asymmetrical neckline and cool space-age cap sleeve make this one dynamite piece.
Can you believe the tags are still on this? Original price was $165.
This is just a sampling of some of the pieces I’ve added to my Etsy store this week with many more to come.
These are great examples of how many fabulous items you can find when shopping secondhand.
I understand that not everyone has the time to devote to finding such pieces and that’s where I step in and help out.
It’s a joy for me to know that these items will be getting a second chance and avoiding the landfill.
Which was your favourite?
Linking up with the lovely Patti for Visible Monday and Jess for Turning Heads Tuesday.
The Walter Baker is the one I would be most likely to wear, but I love the Joseph Ribkoff on you!
Yes, avoid the landfill! These are all beauties; I think I favor the Walter Baker (and also had never heard of him, but wow, nice stuff – love this whole look: https://walterbaker.com/collections/summer-2018/products/marina-top?variant=12096269516918).
And as per always, you look gorgeous, and Zoe looks like she loves you more than a cheeseburger. xox

I ADORE the blue Walter Baker dress!
I also love the Walter Baker dress. They all have a unique vintage vibe but that blue print with the bitsy dabs of red really pulls my heartstrings.
Look at Zoe, she adores you far more than food!
They all look spectacular on you. Isn’t it fun finding things with unknown labels and researching them, too? Fab finds and an education, too – you just can’t beat secondhand shopping! xxx
I love particularly the blue dress, so fabulous, and it matches your chair! that’s doubled fabulousness!
Amazing dresses!
besos
My goodness, you always find such treasures. It’s like you have a fashion beauty-detector which enables you to dive into piles of ordinary clothing and come out with the rare gems. That’s a true super-power.
Man, you always find the best things….I’m going to have to check out that blue dress…
XOXO

Oh la la! The Walter Baker one is a diamond! Very very beautiful!
Perilous, perilous, looking at your awesome finds, right when I am cleaning out my closet. Hahaha!!! Walter, yeah, that’s a good one. But the boobilicious spillage one too. And the Ribkoff one too. Heh. You have the ultimate shopping eye, my friend. How hard it must be to decide, but I guess you’ve learned how to turn on that pro switch.
Zoe loves you more than a cheeseburger! Hahaha, Patti.
I love how your hair picks up the little splashes of red on the blue dress.
Also those silver velvet shoes are pretty marvellous!
I think we are drawn to blue.
Want to know a fun but slightly gross fact? Most of our belly button fluff is blue.
Just a sampling of my brain…you’re welcome!

Hi Suzanne!
All of the colors of these dresses look amazing on you! The details are beautiful and I’m a fan of Joseph Ribkoff, as I got to try the brand last year.
Gibby has the same clock Zoe does! Does she spin in circles and sneeze before meal time? ๐
Have a great week!

I don’t know how you do it! I’m getting ready to sell at the flea market in our street on Sunday, and let me tell you, it’s hard to part with stuff. Especially stuff like the things you are showing us here. I love the cool blues of the Walter Baker (hadn’t heard of him either), but, boobilicious or not, I’m swooning over that first dress! xxx
I love the drama of the Walter Baker dress. Those slits up the leg are ready for their sexy Hollywood screen time. The cut of the Joseph Ribkoff dress is also a hit for me. Both of these dresses evoke a sense of high style in my mind–something you’d see sashaying down a swanky New York street. And the maxi dress is just pure, elegant boho. So Coachella and so free. Each style has its own personality and statement to make.
Such great pieces!

The Joseph Ribkoff dress makes you look sooo elegant. Love it. The first dress is too boho for me, and I am not boho at all, so that is pure personal preference. The blue Walter Baker is beautiful. Love it.
