Just because Zoë and I are the only ones in my office doesn’t mean we don’t like to throw our own little office party.
Doggie treats and Cheesies are on the menu.
I know Cheesies are bad for me but I’ve been craving them for about 35 years now. It’s the holidays! We all get to be naughty.
Or do I have this confused with another holiday?
{shrugs}
I’ve told Zoë she can wear this
And I’ll wear my Karina dress with a blinged out belt, some fake fur and a lounge singer’s velvet blazer I “borrowed”.
I can wear the lounge singer’s blazer but if you want me to sing I’ll need one full bottle of Moët for me (no sharsies!)
And some serious ear plugs for you.
Zoë has been known to run and hide under a couch when I try to carry a tune.
You’ll move to the next table and pretend you don’t know me when we are at Karaoke.
Ha! Joking! I never sing at Karaoke. I’ll watch and laugh though.
Karaoke is my worst nightmare. Worse than public speaking or public nudity.
I think I like this best with the fake fur snood. It looks richer. Plus it was only around 7 C when these photos were taken and as soon as I took off that snood I was freezing.
Of course after my first martini and bag of Cheesies I warmed up darn quick and off came the snood.
I’m not gonna tell you all the antics we got up to. Suffices to say that my husband everyone else at the office will be talking about this party at the kitchen sink water cooler for years to come.
Back to my Karina dress and the giveaway because you don’t want to miss out on that.
December Karina Dress Giveaway
I have another outfit to show you tomorrow.
Check out Patti in her beautiful Karina dress.
Nailed it once again! I can’t wait to see the next look. 🙂
Darlene
I like it with the fur scarf too. Maybe we could have an office party together – there’s no one here but me, so no one to get dressed up for. Zoe is so adorable. I wish I could get Abby to wear something on her head, but she’s very un-cooperative!
Zoe will do just about anything for a treat! 😛
Sweetest Zoe. hahaha. Does she do karaoke?
Another fantastic Karina styling. Love the blingy belt with it. And if I had cleavage there’s no way I’d be hiding it under something called a snood. I’d join you for karaoke after a few bags of Cheesies though – you know I would!
Zoe does become vocal in the afternoon if I don’t feed her early enough. LOL
Snood. It’s the combo of what should be scarf and hood but sounds more like snot and hood. LOL It certainly isn’t an attractive name. I can see the next Kardashian naming their kid snood.
feel exactly the same way as you about karaoke!! And the unfortunate thig is my partner feels exactly opposite and it’s his favourite thing in the world. Sure, it’s great fun if you can sing and don’t hideously embarrass yourself every time you get near a microphone! Anyway, agreed on the snood. You can’t go too wrong with a bit of faux fur at this time of year…
I sympathize. Truly I do. Although my husband sings even worse than I do, although he’ll never admit that.
Public nudity I’m fine with but yep, public speaking and unleashing my terrible singing voice on the world would be terrifying for both me and the rest of the population!
Love how you’re wearing the dress, the fake fur collar is gorgeous, I love the velvet jacket and the blinged-up belt is fabulous (does Elvis know you’ve raided his wardrobe?)
Zoe is the best work colleague ever. Any vacancies in your office? xxx
Styled very well!! I bet you had a blast at the party. With whom did you dance? Zoë?
She looks very much the part with her reindeer gear.
And yes it is this time of the year when you can get naughty. Break the rules.

A beautifully dressed and charming look, I like the pattern, and I really like the outfit you’ve prepared with jacket and scarf.
Could you pass a doggie treat, please? Thank you. **chomp chomp**
Zoe is so cute, especially with accessories.
Ha ha! We have homemade sweet potato and peanut butter doggie treats…everyone likes them ; )
Lookin’ good there!
A very well accessorized dog, cute. And you look lovely. love the velvet blazer. And it sounds like a great party. Karaoke? Fine, as long as my husband doesn’t sing (he’s bad, really bad…). Public speaking? No problem, I can wing it. Public nudity… Hmm, I’m a Finn, so a party might actually involve a sauna…
Ha ha. Our husband’s can sing together ; P
Such a sweet dress, it looks great with the faux fur snood and velvet.
I LOVE a bit of karaoke, and have been known to hog the mike after a few drinks! xxx
Love the addition of the blingy belt to the outfit! The sparkle is awesome.
